‘Tis a fearsome thing to love what death can touch.

Grief and loss are a painful part of all life. We began our journey in 2020 to help those grieving in isolation due to COVID, when our worlds and rituals had been turned on their heads. The pandemic made it impossible to gather and take comfort with wakes and the usual customs and traditions. We realized then that mourning at home can be a path to healing. But there is more to mourn than the loss of a life. Grief can also accompany the loss of a job, a relationship, a home, and other things we hold dear.
